- The Escalade IQ order banks will open in late 2024, just in time for Christmas of next year.
How much is the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ?
Unfortunately the prices for the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ have not yet been released. However, we can do some sleuthing to get a form of an estimate. The base gas power Escalade starts at about $83,900 for the standard trim. Working our way up the line to the top tier trim gets the price up to $154,300 for the V-Series. Generally anytime an electric version vehicle has been introduced it starts closer to the highest level trim price, generally just below, but in the case of the Escalade IQ and the released design of the vehicle already, we believe it could be north of the V-Series in starting price.
Car and Driver predict that it will start around $99,000 but we believe that is a little low, as the base gas powered starts around $84,000. Either way, even Car and Driver remarked that the price will most likely start north of six figures, or as close to it as possible. We think it will be closer to the V-series Escalade in price, so around $150,000. Again these are all estimates as the actual price has yet to be released.
What is the range of the Escalade IQ in 2025?
The Range of the Escalade IQ in 2025 is more like a goal for Cadillac. The luxury company has stated that they are trying to get the range out to 450 miles per charge. This would be impressive for such a large family hauler and we hope to see their promise come to fruition as this would then be the one and only EV that could carry an entire family around.
Beyond that Cadillac has stated that the towing capacity will be 8,000 pounds which is only 200 pounds south of the gas powered Escalade’s towing capacity. The EV will be built around a 200.0 kWh Ultium battery that will make it remarkably heavy, but the EV should be able to generate up to 750 horsepower which makes the vehicle incredibly fast. This is only in Velocity Max mode but unlike other EVs this mode will allow top speeds for as long as it is in the Max mode, unlike other EV’s that only allow a quick boost.
When can you order the Escalade IQ?
The Escalade IQ should be available to order in late 2024. As it is only late 2023, you still have some between now and when the order banks open. The important thing is to monitor your news alerts as we assume the order banks may close as early as a week out, or may stay open for a month. However long they stay open, make sure to call as quickly as possible because if the Mustang Mach-e or any new EV releases have been any indication you will need to put the order out as soon as you possibly can.
