The 2021 Cadillac XT4 is a midsize luxury SUV that offers a modern interior, comfortable ride, an impressive technology interface, and a performance that gets the job done. Some rivals, however, can compete with this SUV on performance and quality. Only a few minor changes come to the XT4 for the 2021 model year.

The XT4 offers a sharp-edged design, distinctive LED lighting, sport grille, LED taillamps, many colors to choose, and available options for your convenience and luxury

INTERIOR
The interior is comfortable and spacious and offers seating for five people. The front seats are roomy and provide enough support for longer drives and the rear seats have a good amount of space as well, with enough legroom for most adults to ride comfortably. There are soft-touch materials, but there are also some hard plastics that look and feel out of place in a luxury SUV.

TECHNOLOGY
The XT4 offers a sharp-looking, user-friendly infotainment system that responds quickly to inputs, and is easy to reach from the driver’s seat. The functions and controls on the steering wheel, though, are difficult to use and may be better to avoid and stick to just the touchscreen. Standard features are plenty and available features add more luxury.
Standard features include a CUE infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen, seven speakers, satellite radio, Bluetooth, USB ports, a Wi-Fi hot spot, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
Available features include a rear-seat entertainment system, a 13-speaker Bose audio system, and navigation.
Technology package (Premium Luxury and Sport trims):

PERFORMANCE
Each trim is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is available on all trims. This engine gets the job done, but it's noisy and not overly energetic; and it sometimes feels overworked at higher speeds.

WARRANTY
The XT4 comes with a four-year/50,000-mile basic warranty and a six-year/70,000-mile powertrain warranty.
CONCLUSION
The 2021 Cadillac XT4 has some good qualities, but that may not be enough. It has plenty of technology and room inside, but many rivals are more athletic and more upscale.
