Cadillac makes several visual updates for the VISTIQ's second model year, according to Car and Driver. The silver accent previously positioned along the top of the grille has been replaced by a gloss-black piece. The automaker has also discontinued graphics featured in the VISTIQ's rear quarter windows.
Black upholstery with white piping is now an available option, and Cadillac also adds Cashmere, Adobe Frost, and Blue Graphite Tricoat to the exterior color palette.
Every VISTIQ features two electric motors for a combined 615 ponies, sending power to all four wheels. Adaptive dampers are standard, and buyers can add an air-spring suspension system. Rear-wheel steering is another available option.
The EPA rates every VISTIQ for more than 300 miles of driving range on a full charge. When the battery needs a boost away from home, DC fast charging can add approximately 80 miles of range in 10 minutes.

EPA estimates rate the VISTIQ at 93 MPGe in the city and 78 MPGe on the highway. Combined efficiency is rated at 86 MPGe.
There's plenty of passenger room in the VISTIQ, including enough space for taller occupants to get comfortable. A three-person bench is standard in the second row, while captain's chairs are optional. Rear passengers can adjust their climate settings through a display mounted on the back of the center console.
The third row folds up when needed and provides seating for two. Space is tighter than in the second row, making it better suited to children and smaller adults. Its flatter seats and thinner cushioning may also make the third row less comfortable during longer drives. Cargo room is limited when all three rows are occupied. Folding both rear rows dramatically increases usable storage.
A curved 33-inch display provides touchscreen controls with sharp graphics and responsive software. Drivers can also navigate the system through a clickwheel mounted on the center console. A smaller touchscreen positioned farther down on the console handles climate settings and other functions. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto aren't included.
