Yes there is a 2024 GMC Terrain. Which honestly is a good question in the current market we live in. It has been a while since a car company has closed out but now it has become much more common for vehicles to come and go almost like the changing of the seasons.

Fortunately for us the GMC Terrain is around to stay. GMC has announced that the 2024 model year will be the last of the current generation and that in 2025 a new Terrain will be introduced. The GMC Terrain has not been here for an incredibly long time, being introduced in 2009.

The vehicle is currently in its second generation, and we imagine that in 2025 we will receive a newer, even more athletic and sporty version of the SUV we have come to love. The current generation of the vehicle comes with a 1.5 liter turbocharged 4 cylinder engine and can be equipped with front wheel or all wheel drive.

The only difference between the 2023 and 2024 GMC Terrain is the addition of two new paint colors, Riptide Metallic and Downpour Metallic. Beyond that the two vehicles are fairly similar. This is because GMC is gearing up for a big change in 2025 when the newest generation of the Terrain is reported to be introduced. We hope that GMC can keep the Terrain rugged while hopefully making it slightly sportier at the same time.

The 2024 Terrain starts off with the SLE trim, coming in at $30,100, and comes less spartan than other brands’ base vehicles. Namely coming with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The next step up is the SLT trim which starts around $34,100. This trim adds in some luxury features such as a hands free liftgate, heated steering wheel, and has more available packages.

The next trim in the lineup is the AT4 trim which starts at around $36,900. This trim mainly has more available packages and standard features than the SLT, such as coming with the pro safety plus package as standard, adaptive cruise control, and available leather seats package. The top tier trim is the Denali trim starting at around $40,000 and comes with more luxury features such as wireless charging and a head up display.
