2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing

On and off the track, the CT5-V Blackwing is elegant and expressive, from its bold-faced grille to its sleek, long and low proportions. The new mesh grille directs air to the main radiators, cooler and airflow ducts. Every secondary grille is functional and purposeful. The front splitter and rear spoiler combine to reduce lift and generate traction. The V-Series Blackwing features forged aluminum wheels paired with high-performance, low-profile tires, reducing road noise and improved tract performance. It offers two available Carbon-Fiber Packages that deliver touches to reduce lift and dramatically improve handling and control. On the inside, the 18-way adjustable carbon-fiber-backed seats are heated, cooled, and massaging. They have bolsters that are designed to make reaching the stick shift as easy as possible. The interior is made up of leather, carbon fiber, and Alcantara; as well as the steering wheel is leather wrapped and features carbon-fiber trim with a red stripe at the 12 o’clock position.

This V-Series Blackwing features a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 with an eight-cylinder that makes 668 hp and 659 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed manual transmission with a no-lift shift feature will give you extra performance; and a 10-speed automatic with magnesium paddle shifters is optional. With a top speed of excess of 200 mph, Cadillac claims 0-60 mph from a stop in 3.7 seconds. The CT5-V Blackwing features Brembo six-piston front and four-piston rear brakes – the largest ever fitted to Cadillac. Rear-wheel-drive is powered by both transmissions and an electronically controlled limited-slip rear differential. The Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing will start at $84,990.

The CTV-5 Blackwing will come standard with a digital instrument cluster and a head-up display; as well as a hi-def 1080p resolution Performance Data Recorder (allowing you to record the vehicle’s camera feeds for later review). A 15-speaker AKG audio system is also included, along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Forward collision warning and blind-spot monitoring will also come standard.
