Power and Handing
With up to 1000 horsepower, the world’s first zero emissions Hummer EV first appeared as a pickup truck and later as an SUV. It takes on the toughest obstacles, featuring four-wheel steering that allows the Hummer EV to go off-the-road, drive diagonally, and “crab” sideways – helping it to traverse tight trails with capability that no other truck in its class can beat. An Extreme Off-Road Package is a game changer that will feature 18-inch wheels, 35-in-OD Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT tires, underbody armor, rock sliders, and up to eighteen available camera views, including underbody cameras. A standard independent front and rear suspension will also enable remarkable off-payment handling. It is predicted the Hummer EV will deliver an astounding 11,500 lbs of torque from its powertrain to give it massive pulling power. GM’s new Ultium battery-pack technology estimates 350 miles of driving range per charge. Design and Tech
The Hummer EV is styled in the form of a crew cab pickup truck with a five-foot-long bed. Each Hummer EV will feature a white exterior and a unique Lunar Horizon interior, with special “Edition 1” interior badging. Its luxury design includes unique signature taillamps, six vertical grille bars, a low-turret roof profile, and an upright windshield, and interior Tech Bronze accents and durable all-weather flooring. It will feature removable transparent roof panels that display a T-top design to create an open-air experience. These panels can be stowed at the front of the vehicle in its “frunk.” It features a 13.4 diagonal infotainment screen and a 12.3-inch diagonal driver information center display up, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A Bose 14-speaker audio system creates an experience designed just for the Hummer EV cabin. The Hummer EV introduces Super Cruise--driver-assistance technology for hands-free driving and automatic lane changing on more than 200,000 miles of compatible roads.
